Here’s Why You Should Visit Cornwall This Year

If I told you of a place with huge sweeping beaches, superb coastal walks and amazing food in the UK, I am sure you’d want to visit – well that place is Cornwall. Some of you might have seen it in the movie called About Time which was a huge hit a couple of years ago.

Here are 5 great reasons why I think you should all visit Cornwall this year:

1 – Go to the Eden Project, an absolute must see, here you’ll be able to see some stunning butterflies who inhabit the Rainforest Biome. I love the walkway there too, if you’re not afraid of heights then it is really good fun because you’ll be walking high up in the treetops.

2 – Make your way to the furthest west you can find in the whole of the UK, the place is called Land’s End because it’s literally where the land ends to the west. It is also famous for being the place where many walkers begin the 838 mile hike all the way to John O’Groats in Scotland.

3 – Gorge on Fish and Chips – what trip to the Great British Seaside is complete without eating as many fish and chips as possible!? Fish and chips is what the UK is famous for and Cornwall is where you’ll find the best on offer. If you want to try the fancy kind then Rick Stein has a great little places in Padstow that’s getting rave reviews.

4 – If you’re in to celebs, then you can always try to spot one in Rock, located in the north of Cornwall. It’s famous with the rich and famous who come down to Cornwall from London. Even royalty such as Prince Harry has been spotted there in the past.

5 – If you want the ultimate open-air theatre experience then nothing will beat the Minack, here you can look out over the sea because the theatre is located on the edge of a cliff. You’ll find it in Porthcurno, just 4 miles aways from Land’s End – it’s a great experience!
